STYLISH CLOTHING WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

With the economic downturn hitting everyone hard, it can sometimes be difficult to keep updating our wardrobes with the latest trends and new clothes from expensive branded retailers.

Bristol-based charity St Peter’s Hospice, however, is offering the perfect solution when it comes to affording stylish clothes this season.

Its 46 stores around Bristol offer a wide range of fashionable garments for all, from stylish winter coats to casual chunky knitwear. With such a huge variety of different clothing donated there is no doubt shoppers will not leave empty handed.

Janet Loud, head of shops for St Peter’s Hospice said: “Second hand clothing does not mean you have to compromise on quality; a lot of our stock is nearly new and in tip-top condition.

“There’s also a huge variety of styles and sizes. We stock a range of fabulous vintage items as well as modern garments so there is something for everyone.

“Buying your latest outfit from the charity will not only be saving you a considerable amount of money but will also help adults in our community suffering from life-limiting illnesses.”

St Peter’s Hospice is also encouraging people to donate clothes they no longer wear, in order to expand their collection. Every donation counts and will contribute to helping thousands of people in the city and surrounding areas.

St Peter’s Hospice is Bristol’s only adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses and giving them a better quality of life. All care is provided free of charge but with the NHS contributing just 23% of the £6.5 million needed to run the hospice yearly, support from the public is essential.

Last year the hospice cared for 2,200 patients in the region and supported over 6,000 family members including children.

Janet continued: “All donations are hugely appreciated, so make sure you get to your local St Peter’s Hospice to pass on those unwanted items and pick up something unique for your own wardrobe.”
